I'm Michael Robert Duh, the "MRD" in MRD Carpentry. Most people know me as Mike Duh (it's Slovenian, pronounced "Do").
I grew up in Mettawa, Illinois, in a house my dad built, with a woodshop in the barn. My father, Bob Duh, owned and ran RHD Construction, and my brother Rob carries it on today as RHD Construction & Remodeling in McHenry County. I learned the trade on their jobs, which is where I picked up the habit of treating every house like it's my own and doing the work once, properly.
In 2017 I moved to Colorado and started on my own, first as MRD Handyman, now MRD Carpentry LLC in Wheat Ridge. Finish carpentry, trim, doors, and built-ins are the heart of what I do, and I handle the practical repairs that come with a lived-in home with the same care. One craftsman, start to finish.
Off the clock you'll find me on a trail, learning Spanish, or planning the next trip.

Tell Mike Duh about your project. (Duh sounds like “Do.”) He works by appointment, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, across Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Lakewood, Golden, Westminster, and west Denver.
